Noomi Rapace in The Girl Who Played With Fire.
She was such a little bad ass in these movies. I’ve had this discussion a few times. I have not read the books, but I’m definitely a Noomi as Lisbeth Salander fan. I have no issues with Rooney Mara. She was the only specific actor I was rooting for at the Oscars this year. I just feel like Rooney’s edge was all look, and Noomi’s edge was all her. She just gives off the vibe that she’s not one to fuck with. Rooney gives off the vibe of “Ooh, I’m scary cuz I got piercings and weird hair and shit. Who wins in the knife fight of Lisbeth v Lisbeth? The original wins in a bloodbath landslide.
I am the only one who thinks that Noomi Rapace was a million times better than Rooney Mara’s bland performance?

Having first seen her in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo it was hard to separate her from such a strong character as Lisbeth, but she’s a smart actress and actually stunning.
And the dress she wore at the Stockholm Sherlock premiere… wow.
